[d]arc awards: 2022 Lighting Event

Applelec Lighting was delighted to have been asked to manufacture the [d]arc awards trophies again for the esteemed lighting awards.

To further tie-in with the lighting events sustainability ethos, the trophies were created to provide a more environmentally friendly design.

Bringing this to fruition, the awards were illuminated with Applelec Lighting’s extremely environmentally friendly architectural lighting solution Green Applelec LED Light Sheet, which delivered bright backlighting highlighting the award logos etched within the acrylic.

Providing a more sustainable acrylic for the 2022 [d]arc awards trophies, Europoint kindly provided Applelec Lighting with their eco-friendly, Green Cast acrylic. A more environmentally friendly alternative, the Green Cast acrylic is 100% recycled and 100% recyclable, ensuring the materials utilised for the awards trophies were highly sustainable.

Renowned for their sustainable practice, Applelec Lighting also teamed up with iMAGECO who created protective boxes for the [d]arc awards trophies from eco-friendly packaging.

Held at London’s iconic Fabric venue, we are excited to announce we are working with Buro Happold on their [d]arc night installation, supplying our architectural lighting solutions to bring light to their creative design, watch this space…
