LumiSorb combines acoustic performance with integrated illumination in one engineered solution, helping designers create feature walls that are both practical and visually refined.
Manufactured from high-performance PET acoustic felt, panels reduce reverberation and improve speech clarity while delivering controlled, even illumination across the surface. By resolving sound absorption and lighting together, LumiSorb also reduces the need to coordinate multiple suppliers. Designed and manufactured in the UK, it offers a more streamlined route to specification for interior projects.

Sustainable by design
LumiSorb panels are manufactured from high-performance PET acoustic felt containing recycled post-consumer material, offering a more considered approach to material selection without compromising acoustic performance or finish.
Illumination is delivered through bespoke Applelec Light Engines, with options for energy-efficient Grade A LED solutions and TM66 2.7 verified Applelec LED Light Sheet, supporting long-term performance and responsible design.
The system is also supported by the Applelec Recycling Scheme, enabling components to be recovered, refurbished or responsibly managed at end of life as part of a more circular approach.
All solutions are manufactured in the UK, ensuring quality, consistency and full technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
The LumiSorb Core Collection
The LumiSorb pattern range, designed by acou.space and powered by Applelec Light Engines, combines decorative acoustic design with integrated illumination to create striking interior features. Available in a broad range of felt colours, each pattern is designed to balance light transmission with surface texture, allowing illumination to pass through the panel and enhance depth, rhythm and visual impact.
Panels can be specified as individual features or combined to create larger illuminated wall installations, depending on the scale and requirements of the project.
