Applelec is pleased to introduce two new architectural surface systems to its growing interiors offering: LumiStone and LumiSorb.
Developed through the launch of Applelec Interiors, these additions expand Applelec’s collaboration-led approach to delivering innovative illuminated architectural features, building on the company’s existing partnership with Parametric Walls.
Together, these systems bring designers new ways to integrate material, light and spatial atmosphere within hospitality, workplace and commercial environments.

LumiStone – Illuminated Printed Stone
LumiStone introduces illuminated printed stone as a decorative architectural surface supplied as a complete illuminated solution.
Designed to enhance the depth and character of stone-inspired patterns, LumiStone allows designers to create impactful reception desks, feature walls, bars and hospitality installations where material expression and lighting work together.
Unlike traditional stone applications, LumiStone offers controlled illumination and consistent pattern distribution, enabling designers to achieve refined visual results while maintaining design flexibility.
Designed in collaboration with Lite-house, the system is powered by Applelec Light Engines, ensuring uniform diffusion, reliable performance and energy-efficient illumination across the surface.

LumiSorb – Illuminated Acoustic Panels
Also joining the range is LumiSorb, a system that integrates Class C sound absorption with architectural illumination.
Developed in collaboration with acou.space, LumiSorb supports calmer interior environments by reducing reverberation while enhancing visual atmosphere.
This makes the system particularly well suited to workplaces, meeting rooms, hospitality environments and neuroinclusive spaces where both acoustic comfort and considered lighting contribute to the overall experience.
Designed by acou.space and illuminated by Applelec Light Engines, LumiSorb brings acoustic performance and architectural lighting into a single integrated solution.

Collaborative Design, Engineered Illumination
The introduction of LumiStone and LumiSorb continues Applelec’s commitment to working with respected design partners to deliver innovative architectural solutions.
These new systems sit alongside Parametric Walls, designed by M|R Walls, which transform flat surfaces into sculptural architectural features through algorithmic geometry and integrated illumination.
Together, these collaborations form a growing portfolio of architectural systems where design expertise meets engineered illumination.
Illuminated by Applelec Light Engines
Across all of these systems, illumination is delivered using Applelec’s bespoke Light Engines, designed and manufactured in Britain.
These engineered lighting solutions provide:
Reliable, long-term performance
Uniform diffusion and controlled light output
Energy-efficient operation
Safe, specification-ready integration
Trusted by designers and specifiers across the UK and internationally, Applelec Light Engines ensure each installation performs as beautifully as it looks.
